Next month, a small group from Burn Louisville will travel to La Paz, Honduras, to serve communities with urgent needs. This mission is about showing up, building alongside local families, and helping bring lasting support to a community that needs it.

This will be my very first mission trip, and I’m honored to be part of a team committed to serving with humility, purpose, and care.

Why We’re Going

Our mission in La Paz focuses on two critical efforts:

1. Completing a community relief center
This space will serve as a hub for support, resources, and long-term impact for local families. Construction is already underway, but materials are still needed to finish the project.

2. Supporting life-changing medical care
We will be assisting Dr. Steve Kelty, who will be performing surgeries that can significantly improve and, in some cases, save lives.

Our Fundraising Goal

Our total fundraising goal is $12,000.
We have already raised $5,915 thanks to incredible humans who see the vision in our hearts and minds.

These funds specifically cover essential construction materials needed to complete the relief center so that it can continue to help the community by serving meals to those in need, as well as any final medical supplies before we leave at the end of February 2026, for the mission.
